The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/27/2006 Annie Oneida McCurry Oneida McCurry, 92, of Show Low, died Oct. 18, 2006. Oneida was born and raised in Waldron, Ark. Following school, she moved to Inglewood, Calif. where she became reacquainted with her childhood friend, Roy McCurry. They were married in 1942. She was a homemaker. They moved to San Marcos, Calif. in 1974, and settled in Show Low in 1999. Roy preceded her in death in 2005. Oneida is survived by her daughter, Linda Valente of Show Low; sister, Louise Harrison of Mustine, Iowa, granddaughter, Melody Hermes; and great-granddaughter, Johnnie Hermes all from San Marco, Calif. A visitation was held Oct. 26 at Owens Mortuary of Show Low. A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. at Show Low Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to The American Cancer Society. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
