Etta (Beckley) Caughey, 87, passed away Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at her home in Hemet, Calif. She was born June 9, 1921, in Brainerd, Minn.
 
Etta and her husband, Walter Presley Caughey, were married in 1941 in Brainerd, Minn. They moved to Eagle Mountain, Calif., in 1959. After his retirement in 1983, they moved to Lake Havasu City. In 2006, following the death of Presley, she moved to Hemet.

Etta is survived by three children, Gary, Gloria and Phylis; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She is particularly remembered for her love of family, her love of cookies and playing cards, and her love of friends and life.

Graveside services will be held at Lake Havasu Cemetery Dec. 22, at 2 p.m..
