Delona Lee “Dee” Goodwin, 73, peacefully passed away at home with her family by her side Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008. She was born Oct. 3, 1935, in Marietta, Okla., to W.A. Hull and Leatrice Hull.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John Goodwin; sons, Mike (Ruth) Goodwin, Clint (Shaun) Goodwin, all of Lake Havasu City; daughter, Jonda (Tim) Stewart, of Bakersfield, Calif.; five grandchildren, Shannon Blunt, Brandy Goodwin, Robert Stewart, Kelly Rodriguez and Taylor Goodwin; three great grandchildren, Kendall, Mallory and Damien; sister, Cathy (Chris) Lehman, of Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Delona was held at the home of Mike and Ruth Goodwin on Monday. Final internment will be in Bakersfield, Calif.
