Arizona Daily Star, 3 February 2009 GIGUERE, Julia Schieffer, a long-time Tucson resident died peacefully on January 30, 2009, one month shy of her 98th birthday. Born February 27, 1911, in Cedar County, Nebraska. Preceded in death by parents, Philip and Mathilde Schieffer; brother, Gregory Schieffer; sister, Theresa Jones and husband, William A. Giguere. Survived by daughter, Nancy Giguere (Bruce Tyler) of St. Paul, Minnesota; grandson, Matthew Giguere Tyler of Finland, Minnesota; sister, Josephine Kast of Yankton, South Dakota; nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the staff of Care Coordinators, the Villa Maria, and Mountain Shadows Care Home. A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at Holy Hope Cemetery.
