Monica "Moniga" Dawn Gutierrez 16, born in sunny California on May 8, 1993, was involved in an accident that took her away from us too soon on April 10, 2010. She is survived by her mother, Olga Pickering, and her father, Gabriel Gutierrez; her Tata and Nana, Jose F. and Isabel O. Munoz; brother, Gary (Desiree) and their children, Harley, Jason and Faith Pickering; Uncle Joe (Rosie) Munoz and cousins, Lil' Joe (Chelsea), Monique (Kyle) and Andrew; Aunstie Annette (Mark) Villarruel and cousins, Louis (Shelby), Ashley, Matthew and Alexis; someone very special to her heart, Bryce Pate; as well as her extended family and many close friends. Family and friends are invited to come share in the Celebration of her life on Friday, April 16, 2010 at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at St. Augustine Cathedral at 9:00 a.m. followed by an interment at Holy Hope Cemetery.
