James J. Bower, 53, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in Glendale.
Mr. Bower was born March 2, 1957 in Highland Park, Mich., to Lahman and Marjorie (Eagleton) Bower. He moved to Flagstaff in 2001. He loved his family and spent most of his free time with them hiking, bowling, fishing and woodworking. He enjoyed watching the Detroit Red Wings and the Pistons. His favorite author was John Steinbeck.
Originally from Michigan, his ashes will be scattered in the Great Lakes area. There are many good memories of Mr. Bower. He will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever.
Mr. Bower is survived by his daughter, Sheena Bower; son Spencer Bower; ex-wife Shirley Bizahaloni; sisters Mary Lou Segesta, Marjorie Longo and Patricia Bower; and brother William Bower.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie (Eagleson) Bower and Lahman Bower; and brothers Lahman Bower Jr. and John Bower.
A memorial service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Lozano's Flagstaff Mortuary, 2545 N. Fourth St., in Flagstaff. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his name to St. Vincent de Paul, 2113 N. East St., Flagstaff, AZ 86004.
