CONCANNON, Terrence C. (T.C.)


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/27/2006 Terrence C. Concannon, 70, died at his home in Alpine, Oct. 18, 2006. He was born Dec. 18, 1935 in Tucson. He was a graduate of Tucson High School. From 1952 to 1953 he served in the United States Navy. He was a member of Kappa SIG, a graduate of the University of Arizona and a member of the Tucson Boys Choir. He also was the founder of "Ye Ole Tavern Worm Races" in Alpine. His hobbies included golfing, fishing and hunting and he was a guide for United States Outfitters. In 1982 he retired from the Arizona Department of Corrections where he worked as a juvenile corrections officer. His survivors include wife, Carol Ann Concannon, Alpine; son, John T. Moore, Tucson; daughters, Patty (Jim) Dorsey, Tempe; and Georgia Moore, Alpine; 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death. T.C.'s life was celebrated in a memorial service at the Eagar VFW Post 8987, Saturday, Oct. 21. Burnham Mortuary, Eagar, handled the arrangements.
