CONTRERAS, Ernest Lopez

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 11/03/2006 Ernest Lopez Contreras died October 27, 2006 in Show Low. He was born Jan. 1, 1933, in Globe, the son of the late Juan and Emelia Contreras. He graduated from Globe High School in 1950 and married Evelyn Anne Hetrick. He worked for Motorola for 29 years, retiring in 1993. He moved to Show Low in 1995. Ernest loved baseball, golf, woodworking and his family. Ernest is survived by his wife, four children, five brothers, five sisters, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Oct. 31 at Carr Tenney Mortuary in Tempe.
