MOOMEY, Gerald L.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 11/07/2006 Gerald L. Moomey, 74, passed to his reward Oct. 27, 2006 at Hospice Pallative Care in Lakeside. He was born Jan. 10, 1932 to Walter and Bessie Moomey in Malone, N.Y. He served his country for 10 years in the Air Force and military police. He was a POW in the Korean War for seven months. He lived at Mountain Oaks in Show Low, where he had many friends who will miss him greatly. He leaves behind his sister, Elizabeth Steenberg in N.Y. He willed his body to science; there will not be services.
