BERGER, Elisabeth S.

Elisabeth L. Berger passed away Friday, July 2, 2010. 

Born in 1931 in Landshut, Germany, Elisabeth met the love of her life Kenneth, while he was in the Army stationed in Landshut. They spent over 60 years being best friends. Elisabeth enjoyed being part of the Tucson Quilter's Guild and various Tucson bowling teams. She loved her family and friends. Her favorite memories included camping with Kenneth and the grandkids. She loved the mountains and could often be found under a pine tree working on one of her many quilts. 

She is survived by husband, Kenneth; son, Herb; daughter, Elisabeth; daughter-in-law, Paige; grandchildren, Garrett and Lexie; and her dogs. Elisabeth is preceded in death by her beloved son-in law, Bill E. Anderson and cherished grandson, Bill K. Anderson. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Tucson Humane Society. Services will be at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.
