Born in Chicago, Illinois, passed away in Fargo, North Dakota.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Pearl (nee Kurth) Aufmann; brother, Joseph; and husband, Dr. Donald Ridenour.

She is survived by her son, Reverend Roger (Joyce) Sedlmayr; grandchildren, Niccole (Jonathan) Walla, Danielle (Thomas) Reher, Roger and Joel Sedlmayr, Cary (Crista) Ridenour, Donna (David) Lewis, Laura (Barry) MacBan; aunt, Gertrude Grant; and brother-in-law, Floyd (Jane) Sedlmayr.

Barbara was a Corporate and Government secretary. Barbara completed nurses training in 1969 and became a hospital and office nurse. On July 4, 1992, Barbara married Dr. Donald Ridenour. They made their home in Prescott and both of them worked at the Ft. Whipple V.A. Medical Center.

Visitation Wednesday, July 14, 2010, 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. Interment to follow at East Lawn Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Rd.
