GOLDBERG, Sol

Tempe -- Sol Goldberg, 80, a transportation captain for Universal City Studios in California for 35 years before retiring, died May 14, 1986, at Westchester Care Center. Mr. Goldberg, of Tempe, was born in New York City and moved to Arizona two years ago from California. He was a member of the Masons, Scottish Rite and the Shriners. He was past scretary and treasurer of the Motion Picture Drivers Union of Los Angeles. Survivors include his wife, Lillian M.; daughter, Sharon F. Reeves; a sister; a brother; and four grandchildren. Services will be in Los Angeles with local arrangements by Tempe Mortuary. Published in The Arizona Republic Thursday, May 15, 1986.
