Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Thursday, October 30, 2008 June 4, 1953 - Oct. 13, 2008 Dr. Robert A. DeJonge, 55, died Oct. 13, 2008, of congenital heart defect. Rob was graduated from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, N.J. with a BA in mathematics, The University of Arizona with a masters of science, in neurophysiology and the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, in Des Moines, Iowa. He will be fondly remembered by his devoted patients for his gift of healing. In addition he was an international key-note speaker on complimentary medicine, Autism and Lyme disease. He served on the board of the American Academy of Anti-aging, American Academy of environmental medicine, Autism Research Institute and American college for the Advancement of Medicine. Rob was an avid outdoorsman, active in the Gus Macker, marathons, tennis and a member of Cascade Hills Country Club. He is survived a wife; three children, Jordan, Reid and Paige, of Grand Rapids, Mich.; father, Henry DeJonge; mother, Jane DeNoble; brothers, Henry, Steven and Michael; sisters, Leslie Orton and Cheryl Vanderjact. Services were held in Grand Rapids, Mich.
