MARSH, Kerriston L.


Kerriston L. Marsh, D.O. Physician & Surgeon 10/14/1929 - 7/11/2010 Dr. Marsh was born in Plentywood, MT to LaVada and Louis Marsh, the oldest of five sons. He attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, where he met his loving wife of 58 years, Lois. They had ten children. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He graduated from medical school in 1963, practiced Family Medicine for 45 years and retired at age 75. Final days were spent at home with his wife and family. Dr. Marsh passed from this life as gracefully as he lived it. A man of profound faith and a scholar, he had an enduring passion for many things including, devotion to God, his family, his country, education, languages, the arts, and history. A true healer, the impact he had on everyone touched by his gentle, loving, and charitable ways endures. He was preceded in death by his eldest son, Anthony, and his grandson, Cameron. He is survived by wife, Lois, and their nine remaining children, 25 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Vigil and Rosary Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY. Funeral Mass, Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations to The American Diabetes Association , in memory of Dr. Kerriston L. Marsh and grandson, Cameron.
