RIVERA, Juaquina (Jackie)

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, Jul 14, 2010 Juaquina "Jackie" D. Rivera, 90 Juaquina "Jackie" D. Rivera, age 90, passed away in her home in Miami with her family by her side on July 2, 2010. She was born in Safford, Arizona, to Jose Maria and Senona Dominguez and was the eighth of eleven children. Juaquina enjoyed sewing, gardening, and staying home spending time with her family. She and her late husband spent 25 years as foster parents caring for and raising countless children. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed. Juaquina leaves behind in loving memory her son, Conrad Lopez of Riverside, California; four daughters, Betty (Trino) Castanon of Georgetown, Texas, Marjorie (Edward) Collette of Marana, Arizona, Yolanda Rivera and Linda Jo Arnett, both of Miami, Arizona; 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; and 16 great great grandchildren. Her husband Jose and all her siblings preceded her in death. Funeral services were held on July 8, 2010 at Miles Funeral Services Globe Chapel. Interment is at Mt. Breeze Memorial Gardens on the Miami-Superior highway.
