GARCIA, Trancito S. (Ted), Sr.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 12/01/2006 Trancito S. "Ted" Garcia, Sr., 80, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006. He was born March 29, 1926 in Concho. He served his country in WWII in the Marines and fought at Iwo Jima. He is survived by his seven children, Ted, Jr., Barbara, Christopher, Priscilla, Sofia, Anna, and Eleanor; brother, Libor Garcia of Concho; and sisters, Saferina McMillan and Pauline Mewhinney; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, David. A Rosary will be cited Saturday, Dec. 2 at 9:30 with a funeral Mass following at 10 a.m. at San Rafael Catholic Church in Concho. Burial will be at the Concho Cemetery. Burnham Mortuary handled arrangements.
