HANCOCK, Robert K. (Bob)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 12/12/2006 Robert K. "Bob" Hancock, 76, died at his home Dec. 7, 2006. He was born Jan. 24, 1930 to Art and Florence Hancock in Taylor where he was also raised. Bob spent most of his life as a cowboy working various ranches in Northern Arizona, including the Bill Bourdon Ranch. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. Bob is survived by his wife, Velda; five children, Lynn (Kathy); Ray (Twyla), Pete (Sonja), Carla (Jerry) Fails and Marsha (Clint) Gardner; 24 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 15 at 11 a.m. at the Taylor Stake Center, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a visitation one hour prior to services at the church and from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14 at Owens Mortuary in Snowflake.
