Karen Payne Chick, 63, of Mesa died Dec. 16, 2006.
She was born in Winslow April 15, 1943 to Charles and Florence (Webb) Payne. She was a lifelong Arizona resident, and worked in real estate title insurance for many years. She loved to play the piano and played Dobro and sang harmony in the Gloryland String Band.
She is survived by her son, Parley J. Stock; brother, Richard M. Payne; niece, Kerri Barger; and a nephew, Richard A. Payne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Payne and Florence Webb Burke Payne Black.
Memorial services were held Thursday, Dec. 21 at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, 7900 E. Main in Mesa.
