Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Wednesday, September 24, 2008 Joseph D. Radvany, 87, passed away Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, in Lake Havasu City. He was born March 15, 1921, in Trenton, N.J., to Frank and Rose (Vida) Radvany. Joseph was a lifelong resident of Trenton and Hamilton, N.J., before moving with his wife to Lake Havasu City in 1995. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and served with the 36th, Infantry Division at their landing in Oran, North Africa in 1943. Joseph was the owner-operator of State Refinishing and State Re-Table and Lamp Co; in Hamilton for over 40 years. He was a past president of the Trenton Lions Club, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hamilton Square; president of the Board of Elders and a member of Crescent Temple, Shrine and Trenton Scottish Rite; and a past master of the Masonic Lodge. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Marjorie; daughter, Joleen (Ron) Mc Neil, of Manchester, N.J.; son, Craig (Barbara) Radvany, of Yardley, Pa.; brothers, Frank J. Radvany, of Morrisville, Pa.; Charles Radvany, of Trenton, N.J.; John Radvany, of Richboro, Pa.; three grandchildren, Kerry (Xavier) Briard, of Paris, France, Heather Hodgson, of Wheat Ridge, Colo., Kevin Radvany, of Charlotte, N.C.; and a great grandson, Nathan Briard. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, R. Tyler Hodgson. A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel today at 4:30 p.m. Words of comfort and wisdom will be expressed by Rev.
