The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ September 4, 1991, p. 2 James Edward Middleton, Sr., 76, of Wickenburg died August 28 in Wickenburg. Mr. Middleton was born January 23, 1915 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He had lived in Arizona for the past 11 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was an associate professor of engineering at Washington State University, Spokane after earning a Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico State University. Survivors include two sons, James Middleton, Jr. of Seattle; and Michael Middleton of Morgan City, Louisiana; and a sister, Opal Stroup of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Graveside services were noon Tuesday, September at the Wickenburg Cemetery.
