NITTER, Ludwig E.


Scottsdale -- Ludwig E. Nitter, 92, who had owned a ladies ready-to-wear store for 44 years in Chicago, died Wednesday (10/9/1968) in Beverly Manor Nursing Home. Mr. Nitter of 4822 N. 76th Place, came to Phoenix 16 years ago and lived in Scottsdale the past five years. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, a Masonic lodge and the Shrine, both in Chicago and Paradise Valley Country Club. He was born in Norway. Services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Mercer Mortuary, 1541 E. Thomas, Phoenix. Friends may call there after 2 p.m. today. Entombment will be in Greenwood Mausoleum. Survivors include his wife, Ida M.; a daughter, Mrs. Bernice l. Allen of Wilmette, Ill.; a son, Robert L. of Scottsdale; and five grandchildren.
