O'BANION, A. Joyce

Mrs. A. Joyce O'Banion, 44, a switchboard supervisor 22 years for Mountain States Telephone Co., died Thursday of cancer in Good Samaritan Hospital.  

Mrs. O'Banion, 1708 W. Roma, was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Sun Dials.  Born in Smithfield, Utah, she moved to Phoenix in 1949.  

Services will be Monday in Grimshaw Mortuary, 334 W. Monroe, where friends may call tomorrow.  Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.  

Survivors include her husband, Patrick M.; her mother, Mrs. Della Van Noy of Smithfield; two brothers and a sister out of state.
