CARTER, Lela (Kitty)

Private services for Mrs. Lela (Kitty) Carter, 80, of 761 N. 12th Ave., will be Tuesday at A. L. Moore & Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams.  Mrs. Carter died Friday, October 11, 1968, in a local nursing home.  

Friends may call tomorrow at the mortuary.  

A native of Dublin, Texas, she came to Phoenix in 1940 from Duncan, Oklahoma.  

Survivors include three daughters, Miss BLanche M. Carter and Mrs. Margie Peachey, both of Phoenix, and Mrs. Beatrice Roof of Lawton, Oklahoma; two sons, Winston of Lomita, Calif. and Clifford of Roseville, Calif.; two brothers out of state; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.
