Chandler -- Darrell R. Geesey, 10, was fatally cut Wednesday when he ran into a glass arcadia door . . . (lines missing here) ...ry School here. He was born in Mesa and lived in Casa Grande before coming here four months ago.
Authorities said Darrell had been playing in the backyard of his home with other boys when he volunteered to go into the house to get a coin. He ran into a rear arcadia door.
Services will be tomorrow in the First Assembly of God Church, 163 S. Robson, Mesa. Burial will be in East Resthaven Cemetery, Phoenix.
Surviving besides his parents, Rev. and Mrs. Elmer D. Geesey, are two sisters, Karen, a student at Bethany Bible College, Santa Cruz, Calif.; and Connie of Chandler; a brother, Delmer of Chandler; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Geesey of Mesa. Bueler Mortuary.
