SCOTT, Laird Roland


Scottsdale -- Laird Roland Scott, 52, a drug salesman for McKesson & Robbins Drug Co. for 31 years, died yesterday (Oct.14.1968) in Doctors Hospital, Phoenix. Mr. Scott, 7534 E. Thomas, had joined the International Business Machines Co. as a supervisor this April. Born in Tempe, he was taken to Cleveland until he was 18. He then returned to Tempe and was graduated from Tempe High School. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, both in Scottsdale. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tomorrow in Messinger Mortuary, 515 E. Indiana School. Funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathoilic Church, 101 S. Miller. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Phoenix. Friends may call at the mortuary after 7 p.m. today. Survivors include his wife, Olivia; and two sons, Bradley and Bryon, all of Scottsdale.
