Mrs. Iva Strong, 66, a native of Clifton, who came to Phoenix 54 years ago from Casa Grande, died yesterday, October 14, 1968, in St. Joseph's Hospital. Services for Mrs. Strong, 21 W. Corona, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Mortensen-Kings Funeral Center, 1020 W. Washington. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, J. Floyd Strong; daughters, Mrs. Jim Dooley of Phoenix and Mrs. William Ham of Los Angeles; a brother, Joseph McFate of Mesa; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Evans of Phoenix and Mrs. Thelma Preece of Hollywood; and 13 grandchildren. The Arizona Republic Tuesday, October 15, 1968.
