MARKINS, Margaret Joyce

MARKINS (also MARKSINS), Margaret Joyce Services for Margaret Joyce Markins, 19, who was a sophomore at Glendale Community College, will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. Seventh St. Miss Markins, 3209 E. Presidio, was found dead Sunday in the Old Thayer Mine shaft at 83rd Avenue north of Bell Road. Born in Tucson, she came to Phoenix with her family five years ago. Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Markins; a brother, Gordon M. of Phoenix; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Craw of Mexico City and Mrs. Gladys Markins of Tucson. Friends may call at the mortuary from 6 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be in Glendale Resthaven Cemetery. The Arizona Republic Tuesday, October 15, 1968.
