MCCLURE, Norvell

Services for Norvell McClure, 39, will be at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow in Webber and Sons Mortuary, 1641 E. Jefferson. Mr. McClure, a native of Pickton, Texas, came to Phoenix in 1945, attended Carver High School and was employed by the City of Phoenix until he moved in 1959 to Portland, Oregon. He died Thursday, Oct. 10, 1968, in Portland. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; a daughter, Kathleen; three sons, Norvell, Jr., Gafther and Eric; and his mother, Mrs. Lela Mae McClure, all of Phoenix; grandmother, Mrs. Winnie Sims in Texas; three brothers, Edward of Phoenix; and Alvin and Calvin, both of Portland. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery with a funeral detail from Luke AFB assisting. Friends may call at the mortuary from 4 to 10 p.m. today. The Arizona Republic Tuesday, October 15, 1968.
