Catherine Hughes, 86, of Wittmann, died Feb. 5 at Boswell Memorial Hospital in Sun City.

She was a homemaker, born in Czechoslovakia, she came to Arizona 39 years ago from Detroit.

Survivors include a son, John Retty; daughter, Victoria Serafini; five grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Feb. 7 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. services were Feb. 8 at 3 p.m. at Camelback Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camelback in Phoenix.
