Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona February 21, 1985, page 22 Dean Wilhite, 73, a winter resident at Country Club Park, died Feb. 12 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix. He had been a winter resident for 12 years. Wilhite was born Oct. 31, 1911 in Rushville, Nev. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude. He graduated from Rushville High School in Nebraska, attended Chadron State College in Chadron, Neb., was a member of the Rushville American Legion Post, a member of United Commercial Travelers of America and a member of St. Alban Episcopal Parish in Wickenburg. A private cremation was conducted for him. Arrangements were made through the Wickenburg Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
