Miami -- Services for Andrew W. Packard, 89, who died in the Arizona Pioneer's Home in Prescott Monday, Oct. 7, 1968, will be today in Miles Mortuary. Burial will be in Tonto Basin Cemetery, located between Roosevelt Lake and Payson.
Mr. Packard, a native of the former Arizona town of Livingston, which stood where Roosevelt Lake is now, was a lifelong resident of Gila County. He was a former rancher, former and mine driller and helped construct Parker Dam.
Surviving are a son, William H., Midland City; a sister, Sophie Darby, Payson; two brothers, Gus, Payson, and Albert, Mesa; a brother living out of state; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
