He was born July 8, 1918 in Jersey City, N.J. and was an Arizona resident for seven years. Survivors include one sister, Lillian Ficken, of Rochelle park, N.J.; one brother, Charles Schopper, of Little Falls, N.J., a nephew Charles Schopper, Jr., of New Jersey and nieces, Mary Beth Getz and Lorraine Ficken, both of New Jersey. Services were in Paramus, N.J. burial is to be at the George Washington Memorial Cemetery in Paramus. Arrangements were made through the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
