John R. Supple, 85, died April 12 at his Wickenburg home.
He was born June 21, 1899 in Bridgeport, Conn. He came to Aguila in 1978 and to Wickenburg in 1980.
In the 1970 he was honored as a founder and operator of Beech Hill Hospital in Dublan, N.H. this was one of the first alcoholic recovery and medical facilities in that part of New Hampshire.
In Arizona he worked for several years as a machinist and later built his own home in Aguila.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta, of Wickenburg; a daughter, Carolyn Pleshe, of New Orleans; a granddaughter and a grandson.
A private cremation was arranged by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
