BRADY, Matthew

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona April 18, 1985, page 13 Matthew Brady, 89, formerly of New York City and later of Wickenburg, died on April 1 in Gaithersburg, Md. Brady was a member of the U.S. Army during World War I and was a member of both the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Several years ago, Brady met Betty Sullivan, widow of the late Harold Sullivan, one-time mayor of Wickenburg and they were later married. She preceded him in death in 1981 at which time Brady moved to Gaithersburg to be with his son, John and his family. Brady is also survived by another son, Harlan J., of Carthage, Ill.; one brother, Harlan P., of Woodbridge, N.J.; one daughter-in-law, Joan and four grandchildren, Steve, Matt, Cynthia and Colleen Marie, all of Gaithersburg. Interment was in New York City near his former wife.
