Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona April 25, 1985, page 18 Myrtle Darnell Davenport, 78, of Congress, died April 18 at Wickenburg Community Hospital. She was born March 16, 1907 in Texas and lived in Arizona for 35 years. She was a school teacher in Congress and Parker and was a member of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband, Ted, of Congress; one sister, Nell Hays, of Chandler; one son, Kelly Darnell, of Glendale; one brother, Bill Dowees, of Sedona; one niece and five grandchildren. Visitation was April 22 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Services were April 22 at 10 a.m. at the Yarnell Presbyterian Church with Pastor Sam Weinschenk officiating; Interment was in the Genung Memorial Park in Peeples Valley. Arrangements were made through the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
