Enid B. Josten, 92, died at her home in Wickenburg on April 21 after a long illness.
The oldest daughter of an Episcopal priest, the Rev. J.S. Budlong, she was born in Providence, R.I. and spent her youth traveling throughout the country.
Later, she moved to Fairbault, Minn., where for several years she was the treasurer of St. Mary’s Hall Episcopal Girls School. In June 1947, she married A. M. (Bob) Josten. They moved to Wickenburg in 1950, where they made their home. Her husband died in may 1965.
Josten was a member of Las Damas, the Wickenburg Community Hospital Auxiliary Board, the Desert Caballeros Western Museum and St. Alban Episcopal Church.
A requiem mass will be conducted at a later date at St. Alan in Wickenburg. Interment will be at Forest Hills Cemetery in Owatona, Minn. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St. Alban Episcopal Church in Wickenburg.
Josten is survived by two children, Roberta Torgerson, of Potomac, Md. and Thomas H. Josten, of New York City; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She is also survived by a sister, Olive Lineweber, of Bleiblersvillle, Texas.
