Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona May 2, 1985, page 22 Raymond G. Dobbins, 83, of Wickenburg, died April 26 at the Wickenburg Nursing Home. He was born March 24, 1902 in Cortez, Colo. and lived in Arizona for 28 years. Survivors include his wife, Verna B., of Wickenburg; daughters, Jeanne Chesney, of Craig, Colo. And Verna May Whitmore, of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; five grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur Dobbins and Hall Dobbins, both of Cortez and two sisters, Lena Marrs, of Cortez and Writa Stevenson of Aztec, N.M. Visitation was April 30 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Wickenburg Funeral Home. Funeral services were at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bruce McQueen officiating on May 1 at 2 p.m. Graveside services were also conducted by the Masonic Lodge No. 37. Interment was in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Arrangements were made through the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
