Nora Null Bunney, of Wickenburg died May 2 in New Haven, Conn. She was born in Auburn, Ill., July 8, 1905.
She attended a one-room country school house through eighth grade and Urbans, Ill. High school where she was valedictorian of her class. She attended the University of Illinois where she was junior Phi Beta Kappa and graduated in the top one percent of her class. She was elected president of many organizations both in college and over the years in her home in New Brunswick, N.J.
Her talent at photography led to give lectures before the Wickenburg Camera Club.
Bunney was a gifted writer and had authored several books, including one about her childhood in rural Illinois, a collections of her poems and a children’s book. She also contributed article to the Wickenburg Sun. She has had a winter home in Wickenburg for 21 years.
She is survived by her husband Dr. William E. Bunney, retired vice president of E.R. Squibb and Son; two sons, both physicians, Dr. William E. Bunney Jr. and Dr. Benjamin S. Bunney and five grandchildren.
The funeral and burial services were conducted on May 6 at Morgan Bay Cemetery, Surry, Maine, with member of the immediate family present. A memorial service is planned for August t, 1985
