Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona May 16, 1985, page 25 Lucy M. Evans, 76, of Wickenburg died May 11 at the Wickenburg Community Hospital. She was born June 22, 1908 in Stetler, Canada and lived in Arizona two years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Evans, in 1984 and her son, William Carl Balsmo in 1951. She is survived by three daughters, Stella M. Gebhart, of Wickenburg, Della M. Lund of Shelby, Mont. and Wilma Peterson of Olympia, Wash.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one brother, Carl Beach, of Wyoming. Memorial services will be conducted by her grandson, Pastor Orlow Lund, in Shelby, Mont. on May 22. A private cremation was arranged through the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
