Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona May 23, 1985, page 26 Howard L. Bonsteel, 89, died May 17 at a nursing home in Chandler. He had been a resident of Arizona for 40 years and lived many years in Wickenburg. He was born May 30, 1895 in New York. Bonsteel was a longtime member of the Wickenburg Camera Club and had helped the late Bill Bass take many of his pictures. He was also an active member of the Wickenburg Rock Club. Bonsteel’s wife, Elizabeth preceded him in death in 1982. The only survivors are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, all out of state. Graveside services were conducted by the Rev, Terry Finley at the Wickenburg Cemetery on May 21. All arrangements were made through the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
