Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona July 25, 1985, page 18 Martha R. Foster, 71, of Salome, died July 19 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix. She was born March 28, 1914 in Maxwell, Ind. She served in the Women’s Army Corp during World War II and worked for the United States Postal Service in Salome for 25 years. She moved to Arizona in 1942 from California. Survivors include her husband, John D., of Salome; one son, John C.; three grandchildren and one daughter-in-law, Marilyn Foster, all of Phoenix. Visitation was July 23 at 9 a.m. at the Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel. Services were July 23 at 10 a.m. at the Chapel. Interment was in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Arrangements were made through the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
