ENGASSER, Neal M.


Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona August 8, 1985, page 7 Neal M. Engasser, 81 of Nuevo, Calif., died July 17 in Nuevo. He was born Jan. 22, 1904 in Congress and lived there for 42 years. Engasser moved to Nuevo in 1946 and was the assistant superintendant for the Nuevo Water Company for 17 years. He then owned and operated the Arco service station. He was a member and former deacon of the First Congregational Church of Perris, Calif. and was a member and past master of the Nuevo-Lakeside Grange. Survivors include his wife, Ethel, of Nuevo; one son, Tom, of Corona, Calif.; two daughters, Maxine, of Van Nuys, Calif. and Estella Young, of Corona; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one sister, Helen Smith, of Chula Vista, Calif. Services were in the First Congregational Church of Perris on July 30. Graveside services and interment of the cremains was in the Wickenburg Cemetery on July 29 with Pastor Kenneth Houghland and Pastor emeritus Joseph Baccus. The graveside services were conducted by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
