In Congress

We wish to extend our sympathies to Rosamond Wendler regarding the death of her husband, affectionately known as “Tony” here in Congress.  They had gone to their son’s home in California on July 31 to visit and possibly relocate.

Wendler told us in a letter that he died Aug. 4 at his son’s home.  It was sudden and wholly unexpected, since he had not complained of being ill.
