SHONTZ, Harold D.

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 5, 1985, page 18 Harold D. Shontz, 87, of Wickenburg, died Aug. 28 in Wickenburg. He was born March 1, 1898 in Harmony, Pa. Shontz came to Arizona in 1912 and was a rancher in Wickenburg as well as Blythe, Calif. in 1942. In 1981 he moved back to Wickenburg. He lived in Arizona for a total of 73 years. Survivors include one brother, Charles L. Shontz, of Wickenburg; one sister, Hazel Matchette; two nieces and six nephews. Services were Aug. 31 at 10 a.m. at the Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bruce McQueen officiating. Interment was in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Arrangements were made through the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
