Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 12, 1985, page 17 Gladys Marie Allen, 71, of Menahga, Minn., died Sept. 4 in a Wadena, Minn. hospital after a long illness. She was born in 1914 in Lancaster, Wisc. and was married in 1931. She was a Wickenburg winter resident from 1976 to 1984. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clive D.; one son, Robert D. and two daughters, Mary L. and Elaine J. (Johnons). Survivors include six children; Clive R. Allen, of Wickenburg; Barbara Reetz, of Cave Creek; George Allen, of Mankato, Minn.; Patricia Daughtery, of Renville, Minn.; Gladys Murphy, of Menahga and Shirley Lendborg, of Circle, also, 22 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister. Services were conducted Sept. 7 in the Chapel of Garrity Funeral Home, in Prairie Du Chien, Wisc. Interment was in the Dickenson Cemetery, next to her husband, in Lynxville, Wisc.
