HALDENWANG, William John

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 26, 1985, page 16 William John Haldenwang, 91, of Minneapolis, Minn., died Sept. 12. He was born Aug. 22, 1894 in Brooklyn, N.Y. and was a winter visitor to Wickenburg for over 25 years. Haldenwang was a veteran of World War I and was a 41-year employee of the Anaconda Company, New York, N.Y. He was also a member of the New Utrecht Reformed Church, Brooklyn, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his wives, Hedwig Schellhorn and Catherine Palience Rebele and two sisters, Clara Hagen and Mae Dwyer. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Ralph Goodwin, of Minneapolis; two grandchildren; one cousin and one nephew. Memorial services were Sept. in Minneapolis; Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery, in Brooklyn. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions of the donor’s choice may be made.
