Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona October 17, 1985, page 15 Estelle Blair Bjerg, 97, of Yarnell, died Oct. 13 at the Wickenburg Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 14, 1888 in Caldwell County, N.C. and was an Arizona resident for 65 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Flagstaff for over 50 years and was a past worthy matron. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Nile for many years and a member of the Ladies Oriole Shrine, both in Phoenix. She was a court reporter for district court in Flagstaff for 25 years and had lived in Yarnell since 1959. Survivors include three nieces, Elizabeth Feagan, of Tom Beam, Texas, Anita Blair, of El Paso and Jean Stall, of San Antonio and one cousin, Nina Carney, of Yarnell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hartwig Bjerg, in 1971. A private cremation was conducted for her. Memorial services are pending. Arrangements were made through The Wickenburg Funeral Home.
