Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona October 17, 1985, page 15 Roy S. Williams, 68, of Wickenburg died Oct. 10. He was born June 15, 1917 in Niles, Ohio and was an eight year resident of Arizona. Williams was a grocery store owned who started his business as a meat cutter. He was a member of the Desert Stags, a local riding group: Wickenburg Roping Club and was a veteran of World War II, where he served in Europe. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Cecilia Lutz; two sons, Tom Williams of Ohio and James Williams, of Saskatchewan, Canada; one daughter, Marjorie Moy, of Ohio; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of Ohio and one sister, Lorena Quinn, of Wickenburg. His son, Donald, preceded his in death in 1973. Funeral services were conducted in Ohio on Oct. 16. A memorial service will be conducted in Wickenburg at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
