Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona October 24, 1985, page 18 Rose Burren, 89, of Wickenburg, died Oct. 18 at the Wickenburg Community Hospital. She was born April 12, 1896 in Basel, Switzerland. She was an Arizona resident for 24 years. Survivors include one daughter, Edythe Herndon; two grandchildren, Tootie Sargent and Butch Herndon, all of Wickenburg; five great grandchildren, Julie Sparks, of Tucson, Jeff Sargent, of Vernal, Utah and Celia Herndon, Heide Herndon and Flag Murphy, all of Wickenburg; four great-great-grandchildren; three sister and one brother. Services were at the Wickenburg Funeral Home on Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Bruce McQueen officiating. Interment was in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were made through the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
