Dennis L. MacKaben, age 66, passed away on Dec. 17, 2005, after a short, courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones in his Prescott Valley home.  Born July 14, 1939, in Sherburn, Minn., Dennis served in the U.S. Army and later was an electrical inspector for a California engineering firm, before retiring.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Verna and Robert. He is
survived by his wife, Arlene of Prescott Valley; his son, Scott (Morgan) of Leadville, Colo.; his step-children, Barry Gabriel (T. Jay)
of Phoenix, Beth Hill (John) of Phoenix and Jon Gabriel (Angela) of Mesa; and his beloved granddaughters, Erin, Hayley, Kelsey and Brynn, who were blessed to know and love him.

A  private memorial service will be held at All Saints' Episcopal Church in Phoenix.

The family was cared for by Sunrise Funeral Home and Crematory in Prescott Valley.
